   I have always wondering why the case of Oromia is more or less concentrated on the West Orommia, specifically Ambo. ” Ambo qoffadha Namni Oromumma Offitti Kan warregammu” It seems like other parts of Oromia is sleeping. Or there is shortage of propaganda and movement in these part of the country. There is no way to postpone the sacrifice. I believe it is way better to struggle continuousely without interruption, than to come and go every year. The continuity of struggle is a necissity, especially during this very intense time for Tigre Thugs/murderers. They are in deep shit all over, no way to escape!

   We don’t need comparison between Ambo with other cities. We hope that all other cities will follow and/or resume the uprising. We have also poor network between Oromia Universities/Colleges, High school and Elementary schools. Something has to be done to fill the gap.

Ambo will provide victims who will die for Oromo cause, while the rest of towns and regions will dance with enemies and prepare to become Oromian leaders in case Ambo and few others succeed to liberate Oromia. How many leaders of present day Oromo organizations are from Ambo or central Oromia? Essentially none!

   This was my dream since the OLF has been left from the transitional Government way back in 1992. I was expecting that the internal divisions that will come out of OPDO will mark new chapter for the Oromo movement. One thing that we all (oromo) need to know is, we are one of the factors that contributed the most for the success of unholy marriage between TPLF and OPDO. We are still doing the same thing after 24 years, dehumanizing, character assassination, isolation of OPDO from general population, etc., the list is too long to put here. But enough is enough and we need to be politically wise and mature after all these time (24 years). Some of us still stuck in the early stage of 1990’s. Time and opportunity have passed again and again but we still attack OPDO. Some of us are so blind and we can’t see how the Oromo politics is evolving. We the Oromo people need OPDO on our side whether we like it or not. We cannot keep continue doing TPLF job ourselves. It is the public secret that OPDO has been crated and mostly promoting the agenda of TPF. This has been done by the first generation of OPDO but the second generation is bit different than the first one. They are baptized by OLF and they are trying to help on whatever they can to promote the interest of Oromo people , keep in mind that they are doing this under the total control of TPLF and some of them paid huge price and they are still paying that now.
   For those who bend down your back to attack OPDO day in and out, you are the worst enemy of Oromo people indirectly because you are not helping the divorce process of TPLF and OPDO. What you are doing is, you are attacking the confidence of some elements within the OPDO who are trying to do something good. Keep in mind that some of these OPDO members are capable of thinking that they need to be independent of TPLF control and they are trying to find how to do it, but you are pushing them back to this unholy marriage with your attack. If they think that they do not have any of Oromo backing when they try divorce from TPF, they only thing they can do, trying fix their rotten marriage.
   One thing we need to understand here, whether we like it or not the only viable power that can challenge the hegemony of TPF is OPDO for the Oromo at this moment, therefore we need to be politically smart and savvy in this time and place. We need to stop attacking OPDO. We need to show to OPDO that if they devoice with TPLF, we are ready to take them back with open arms and ready to forgive them. We need to be ready to rally behind the independent OPDO. We need to stop in fight and ready to attack our enemy, real enemy. This is the Oromo unity that some of us singing for the past 24 years. As a people, Oromo, let’s have a permanent interest but not permanent enemy!

   Personally I don’t know this OPDO but as an independent neutral person, as it now stands the elimination or weakening of the OPDO which many of us out of irrational hatred and momentary feel good alone are singing like swans will only come to weaken the situation of the Oromo people as a whole while strengthening the situation of neftenyas and tplf corner patriots who are working secretely as hand and gloves with those amara groups within the government. People who can not unite when faced with adversities will only get defeated and keep being servants for others as we have seen for such a long time.

   Now it is NOT the time of thinking little and being petty chest pumping baboons rejoicing, dancing about the misfortunes of other Oromo groups and individuals but the time of gathering all the dispersed forces to form solid majority force and then proceed to take once own rights and equalities.

   Even if OPDO is not there abeshas will redouble their efforts and unity and power so as to tie your hands and legs even more tighter and make you work for them under slavery. Or do you mean that now Oromia is in better hands only because opdo is not there just like some amara elites think? Very funny indeed!

   I am not quite sure whether this forum is appropriate to discuss on tactics and strategies of Oromo political organizations. As you said, there is one distinction about OPDO that we need to spell out. Those OPDO members who were used by the TPLF as Trojan horses and who are still benefiting themselves at the expense of the Oromo people must be held accountable. People like Kuma Demeksa, the Oromia security head and a bunch of central Committe members did not have the cause of the Oromo people at heart and did not fight for it in the first place. That is why they will never yield to the wish of the Oromo people, but would like to serve their masters’ mission.

    You are now predicting the future with utter determinism which is utterly wrong. Of course they too will change in the future if the balance of power changes in the future and nothing is permanent, except diamonds. And the balance of power will surely change only if Oromos keep developing their own multidimensional capapcities(capacity building)and through that become solid and strong power to recon with.

    If you have the habit of thinking that certain things will never change then it also means that you will never take change bringing steps and capacity building actions thereby inviting defeatism and weaknesses. This is the so called laws of Self fulfiling prophesies.

    Better asume everything can change and will change however it may be piece by piece, slow and inceamental if conditions are ripe, places and times are correct and confortable.

    And you must be the agent to help ripen the fruit, arrange the places and the right times. Why are you folks demanding full scale rebelion when the fruits may have not been ripe, when the time is not correct, and when the place is not defined?

    Haste make too much waste and spoils even the whole thing.

    Do you mean then that you want all of those neftenyas spread all over Oromia cities and villages to act as guides because they are still there very well united, organized and politicised even buying poor ignorant Oromos for a bottle of local honey wine to loyally vote for the great neftenya CUD victory in the 2005 election while poor Oromos even then just like now producing empty rantings and rantings with out any concrete results. Some times Oromo tactlesness and lack of wisdom is mind boggling to say least beacuse some of them think that it is enough to produce old and standardized steril familiar phrasesm instead of fresh thinking and broad based ongoing vision and mission review and updating oneself.

OPDO they stay in their country and do what they can who are we to stay in the west and blame them. yes some of them are doing completely what tplf tell them to do but some are working really hard to educate the next generation. if not for OPDO after OLF left our people we have go back to the dark age where they used not allowed even to speak their language or learn in their language. not us not point our finger to them but try to forgive and work together for the seek of our people who are suffering and being dehumanized. please people in the west you dont understand what kind life our people are living in our country

There is an Ethiopian saying “she lost what she has under her armpit while reaching for the upper shelf”. While this selfish individual tries to get hold of another, what she already has will be scattered. Lately in Habesha camp fear has spread and uneasiness has increased.

Soothing, warning, rebuking and some others were tried. Unfortunately they try to tell us that the source of their problem is the national struggle of the Oromo people. In reality the aim and goal of the struggle of the Oromo people is to get rid of authoritarian rulers and thus to achieve the right to self determination for the Oromo people based on international regulations and laws is fair. The importance of the struggle is not only for the Oromo people but for all the people of the empire who are suffering under the colonial rule. So the Oromo people trust in united struggle of oppressed people. It will and has been wedging joint struggle with forces with similar aim. In other ways Oromo people demonstrate peace in its cultural and administrational structure and supports fair unity. It helps the weak and stand for the oppressed. A good demonstration is the exemplary unity the different ethnic groups living in today’s Oromiya exhibit despite the numerous attempts by anti Oromo groups to create a rift between them.
As Oromo people in their social life and national struggle respect the rules of human rights and by any measure are not threats to neighboring and same region people, the fake information disseminated by groups wanting to re-instate the old system and tplf jointly and independently turns out to be false.

The truth has been illustrated at various times by different individuals. But as long as those Oromo-phobic individuals who could not understand it give in, we must show and teach them theoretically and by action how Oromo struggle has matured. Accordingly the Oromo struggle has come a long way and has reached a stage where it cannot be averted, even though they are not going to like it I would like to demonstrate by credible facts

• By the sacrifice paid by its dear children Oromo people has been able to show to all world their country’s boundary and true history. By blood and bone of her children our country Oromiya will be respected till eternity. This is the reality.
• The language and culture of Oromo people has been developing on solid foundation. Today Afan oromo has its own alphabets. Millions study, teach and do research by it. Medias with International audience broadcast by it. It has become language of literature. As this indicates that the struggle is nearing the end, we must take note.
• The Oromo people struggle has arrived at the generation who doesn’t fear death and ready to sacrifice its dignity for the sovereignty of Oromia. This confirms all. As this reality is being seen on the ground, there is no need for further explanation.
• The international community has not only understood but forced to look for solutions about the arbitrary killing of Oromo people. This is the fruit of relentless struggle. Even if you don’t like it you know the exact gist.
• Today we have arrived at historical chapter where the Oromo people have demonstrated that they won’t crack by propaganda of anti Oromos and that they have stood together in union for a common goal. This cooperation between Oromo people has started to shake your power base giving you high blood pressure as demonstrated by the recent uprising.
• As the Oromo national struggle consist of all options, Oromia mountains, valleys and forests are witnessing strong military preparation. Accordingly in May 2014 the Oromo Liberation Army has attached enemy soldiers and killed and wounded more than 200 soldiers. It has confiscated a lot of military equipments.

Overall Oromo people have scored important victories and is mobilizing it human and material resources to claim the rest of its rights. So are you trying to stop this visionary generation by imprisonment? Or trying to fool them by rebuking and fake words? To tell you the truth that era has passed. Let me help you realize the truth. You can’t stop them. This is because you can’t stop a generation with a cause. The better way is to drop the old eyeglass which twists the truth and straighten your views and live together
